Established in 2001, the Ypsilanti Area Community Fund (YACF) is a geographic
affiliate fund of the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation. The Fund is a
permanent endowment established to support programs, events and projects in the
greater Ypsilanti area. While maintaining its own identity, the Ypsilanti Area Community Fund benefits from the professional staff, fund management and investment expertise of the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation.
Fifteen community leaders lend their time to support YACF's growth and long-term
success by serving on the YACF Advisory Committee.
Seeking to make a positive difference in the future of the Ypsilanti area, more
than 130 community members have joined
YCAF's 1825 Founders
Society . Members have made a commitment of at least $1,825 to
support YACF's General Unrestricted Fund to ensure the Ypsilanti Area Community
Fund will have the capacity to support local agencies and programs that serve
Ypsilanti's community -
For good. For ever.
