AAACF Community Scholarship Fund

To help increase college access and graduation rates for students in Washtenaw County with the greatest need, this Scholarship Fund will award scholarships to three local populations who traditionallly face barriers to obtaining a postsecondary degree: low income students, under-represented students of color, and first generation college students.

AAACF Community Impact Fund

The Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation's Community Impact Fund supports AAACF's competitive grant programs, and gives AAACF the greatest flexibility to address emerging community needs and priorities. Donors who want to leverage AAACF's knowledge of our community's needs often support AAACF's competitive grant programs with a gift of any amount to this fund.

826michigan Endowment Fund

Established in 2015, this Fund supports 826michigan and its mission to support students aged 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to help teachers inspire their students to write.

Ann Arbor Entrepreneurs Fund

The Ann Arbor Entrepreneurs Fund (A2EF) was established in 2019 as a permanent Community Impact Fund, as one way for entrepreneurs to give back to the community. This fund supports the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation's grant programs, giving AAACF the flexibility to respond to emerging community needs, now and forever.

The A2B2 Fund

This fund supports organizations and/or programs that provide food and shelter to those in need in Washtenaw County. The secondary purpose of the Fund shall be to support charitable organizations in the United States.

A2Ethics.org Endowment Fund

Established in 2008, this agency endowment supports A2Ethics.org, an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting ethics and philosophy initiatives through events, education and civic partnerships in local communities. As a social connector and weaver, A2Ethics is developing an ethics network of organizations and individuals of all ages to support and expand public engagement about real world ethics issues across Michigan.

Ann Arbor YMCA Endowment Fund

The Ann Arbor YMCA Endowment Fund provides support to the Ann Arbor YMCA to carry out its role and mission.

AAACF Endowment for the Arts

Established in 1993, by AAACF's Board of Trustees with $200,000 from the unrestricted endowment as a gift to the community, this Fund awards grants to promote the creation, production, presentation and education of the arts. This Fund gives AAACF the flexibility to award grants to support and advance our local arts & culture sector.

AACHM Endowment Fund

The Fund provides support to the African American Cultural and Historical Museum (AACHM) of Washtenaw County to carry out its mission.

Ann Arbor Public Schools Education Fund

The Ann Arbor Public Schools Education Fund distributes funds for the benefit of the Ann Arbor School District. The fund supports classroom projects that enhance and enrich the learning experience and provide the skills and proficiency required for employment and further education for all students.

AAPS Science & Environmental Education Endowment Fund

Established in 2001 by interested teachers, administrators and parents, this fund will extend the capacity of the Ann Arbor Public Schools to offer students science experiences that are connected to the school district's hands-on, inquiry-based science program.

AASCF Teen Giving Circle Fund

The AASCF Teen Giving Circle Fund provides teens with philanthropic education and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for local organizations by pooling their time, charitable gifts, and resources.

The Academy for Sport Leadership Endowment Fund

Established in 2004, this Agency Endowment supports the Academy for Sport Leadership's goals. The Academy for Sport Leadership (TASL) is a State-wide organization dedicated to championing, educating, and attracting young women to the coaching profession.

African American Endowment Fund

Established in 1993 by former AAACF Trustees Willis Patterson, Barbara Meadows and Joe Dulin, the African American Endowment Fund was created to improve the physical, economic, social and educational conditions that affect the quality of life for African Americans in the Ann Arbor area. The Community Foundation matched the first $100,000 raised with $50,000.

Robert Albritton Endowment Fund

Established in 2002 by the Pioneer Band Association to honor Robert Albritton's distinguished 20-year tenure as Director of Bands and Chair of the Music Department at Pioneer High School. This fund provides musical enrichment and funds music camp experiences for students who are participating in Pioneer's Band Program.

Bob & Katie Aldrich Fund

Established in 2000 by Bob and Katie Aldrich, this Community Impact Fund supports the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation's grant programs, giving AAACF the flexibility to respond to emerging community needs, now and forever.

Robert H. Alexander Fund

Established in 1992 by Dr. & Mrs. Harry A. Towsley in memory of their son-in-law, this Community Impact Fund supports the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation's grant programs, giving AAACF the flexibility to respond to emerging community needs, now and forever. Robert Alexander was born in Texas but spent the last ten years of his life in Ann Arbor. Prior to coming to the Midwest, he devoted many years to the advancement of the arts in New York, especially to music and the performing arts.

Wyeth & Lillian Allen Fund

Established in 1973 with a bequest and memorial gifts in Mr. Allen's name, this Community Impact Fund supports the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation's grant programs, giving AAACF the flexibility to respond to emerging community needs, now and forever. Mr. Wyeth was a founding Trustee and later President of the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation. In 1994, Mrs. Allen also remembered AAACF in her will and the fund became the Wyeth and Lillian Allen Fund.

Allen Creek Preschool Fund

Established in 2001 by the school's founders and administrators, this fund will enable the "psychoanalytic preschool" to carry out its mission, expand outreach programs and build its enrollment base through scholarships.

Merton & Regina Allen Memorial Fund (Designated)

This fund was established in 2003 by Alec and Judy Allen and Mark and Marjorie Allen, as a tribute to their parents. Its purpose is to support programming, events, and special initiatives at the Michigan Theater for the benefit of U.S. Armed Forces veterans, with preference for disabled veterans and those who served in action.
