Vice President for Community Investment, Leadership
As an inaugural member of the very first AAACF Youth Council in the 1989-1990 school year, Christopher Lemon came full circle when he joined the Community Foundation in 2009 as the Youth Council Advisor. Now, as Vice President for Community Investment, he works to create impact in Washtenaw County, focusing on AAACF’s strategic grant programs focused on supporting older adults and caregivers in our community. Chris' experience as a Youth Council member continues to inspire the work he does today; recognizing the importance of community voice and involvement when deploying grant programs and strategic initiatives. Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Chris took a short “leave of absence” to obtain his BA in psychology at Michigan State University before returning home. Chris is currently a resident of Dexter, where he coaches lacrosse and owns & operates a 35-acre community-focused farm.
