Secretary, Board of Trustees
For over 30 years, Karla has worked in the financial industry and is currently a Managing Director at Robert W. Baird. She is bringing her passion for helping others to the board, believing "that everyone, regardless of their color, sexual orientation or background should be given the tools they need to be successful in life."
She is a U of M graduate and has lived in Ann Arbor ever since, being a supporter of the Foundation's mission for many years. Karla believes that "the focus on education is paramount" in leveling the playing field and she hopes to create tangible change for those in our community who are facing obstacles.
